About me

I’m Slovakia (Europe) born Photographer, Director of Photography 3D/CG Generalist, Matte Painter and Compositor.

When I was 10 years old I was strongly influenced by my parent’s creative work environment in their printing company. I was engaged in variety of tasks, but really got into photography, which developed into my passion throughout my life.

I studied 2D/3D Animation in Private secondary art school of animation, The Green school of the 3rd millennium, Bratislava, Slovakia. In Prague, Czechia I joined Havas Worldwide Prague as a compositor. Shortly I expanded and used my skills as a Director of photography, VFX supervisor and 3D generalist and worked mostly for global TVC commercials and online campaigns.

Being part of a team, which was awarded with prestigious Czech awards (2016, 2017, 2018 Zlatá Pecka, Effie awards, Creative awards – Louskáček) and Global awards (2017 Cresta awards TV/Cinema/Online Film Bronze, 2017 Golden Award of Montreux, 2018 Golden Drum awards).

There-/in the team I met my life partner, my wife and producer Martina.

In ILM, I was a part of the team which won Visual Effects Society award in 2023 for The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power – Outstanding Created Environment in an Episode, Commercial, or Real-time Project. 

In 2025 I’ve been nominated for Emmy – Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Single Episode for Apple TV+ Severance TV series season 2 as a Environents Lead Artist from Industrial Light & Magic (ILM).
